Experience

How a campus help desk turned into a healthcare IT practice.

I got my start in the trenches of campus IT — first building the IT Help Center at Moorpark College from the ground up, then delivering enterprise support for a 280,000-user institution at Cal State Northridge. Those years taught me something no certification covers: technology only works when the people using it trust it.

From there I moved into web development and design, running a digital platform that reached more than 210,000 subscribers and later building client-facing products at a digital studio. That combination — infrastructure on one side, product and design on the other — is what pulled me toward healthcare, an industry where both matter enormously and neither can be an afterthought.

Since 2020 I've been at HealthSpaces, growing from onsite engineer deploying clinical infrastructure at facilities across the country, to leading nationwide healthcare IT operations, to Product Owner & Partner — owning the product roadmap and working directly with medical practices on their technology strategy. I bring that full arc to every engagement: the engineer's eye for systems, the product owner's sense of priorities, and a decade of lessons learned inside real practices.
